Renegade Marketer Review

Some of our Renegade University students have asked why we use Ann Sieg's "The Renegade Network Marketer" for our course book in our training rather than Mike Dillard's "Magnetic Sponsoring" program.  The Founder of the Renegade University and Renegade Professional System, Mike Klingler has included a detailed review of the two programs in the Renegade University course but here are my thoughts on these two Author's and their courses.

I first started studying Attraction Marketing in 2006 when I came across the Magnetic Sponsoring site.  I had been looking for a more effective way to market my MLM business online and the information and ideas that I discovered in Magnetic Sponsoring were a revelation to me.  I got incredibly excited, bought all of their programs and then got "stuck".  There was just so much new information for me to take in that I put Magnetic Sponsoring, and my MLM Traffic Formula, on the shelf and promised myself that I would work through them "when I had more time"!

The manuals sat on that shelf for nearly two years.  I'd almost forgotten them when I received an email from Mike Dillard (yes I was still subscribed) about his new program "Building on a Budget" and the Magnetic Sponsoring online community.  My interest was tweaked again and I re-examined the Magnetic Sponsoring principles.  Mike seemed to have filled a void for me in providing great information in Building on Budget on how to use Attraction Marketing with free (or very cheap) advertising methods.  Plus his new online community provided a huge amount of additional information on growing your Network Marketing business in this new attration based model.  I knew my team would benefit from this information but I needed a system to allow them to duplicate what I was doing online without over investing hundreds of hours of my own time.

Enter Mike Klingler's - "Renegade University"  

I investigated many different attraction marketing systems but when I started using the Renegade University, I knew I had found what I'd been serching for.  A step by step system that could take all of my team members, literally by the hand, and walk them through the process of building an Inter-Net-Work Marketing business using the power of attraction marketing and reverse funding (monetisation) strategies.  Most of my team where internet novices and were imitmidated by Social Networking and Web 2.0 technologies - for some they were intimidated by the internet in general.  The Renegade University gave them all of the information they needed but through informative webinars and video training tutorials that were suitable for everybody - even the very beginner.  Not only did my team start to duplicate my efforts but the Renegade University also freed up buckloads of my time which I used to spend teaching internent novices basic computing skills.

When I started working through the Renegade University myself, I immediately read the recommended course book - Ann Sieg’s, "The Renegade Network Marketer".  The biggest difference I noticed straight away is that The Renegade Network Marketer is an e-Book and was delivered to my inbox immediately, while the Magnetic Sponsoring course was a physical book that came to me in the mail in a large journel style folder.  Ann's book reinforced for me many of the concepts I had learnt in Magnetic Sponsoring but I quickly understood why Mike Klingler had chosen to use the Renegade Network Marketer in his University rather than Magnetic Sponsoring - it is simply more "comfortable" and relates to a wider audience. "The Renegade Network Marketer" is a perfect introduction for beginners and Ann spends more time explaining the attraction model.  Both authors have (quite importantly) worked their own personalities into their books and this changes the reading audience that both will appeal to.  Ann focusses on the frustrations and challenges of the conventional (Old School) model of Network Marketing.  A broad cross section of age groups and personality types can relate to the "struggles" she experienced and how she has overcome these through attraction Net-Work-Marketing.  While Mike Dillard dwells heavily on developing yourself as an "Alpha Networker" and, I feel, appeals to a younger, more masculine (or at least stronger) audience.  Not that this is a bad thing, I highly recommend (and teach) you develop "You Inc" as you grow your network marketing business online, but this can be more difficult to "internally believe" before you are making the big dollars. 

Basically, Ann Sieg’s, "The Renegade Network Marketer" e-book was chosen as the introductory course book for the Renegade University  as it appeals to a wider audience and provides the most thorough introduction to Internet Attraction Marketing for Network Marketers at a beginners level. This gives people a low cost starting point and allows then to get started without having to invest $500-$1000 into advanced courses, such as MLM Traffic Formula. 

Why do I still recommend Magnetic Sponsoring?

Because Mike Dillard first brought the concept of Attraction Marketing for networkers to the masses - meaning that a lot of people have reviewed his courses. It is therefore highly likely that your prospects will be exposed to his work and will come to you with questions and to ask your advice.  It will benefit you greatly, as a leader in the new Network Marketing model, if you have already reviewed his Magnetic Sponsoring Book at least.  It’s only $39 and will give you a clear explanation of Internet Attraction Marketing so that you can talk to your prospects about the information from a position of knowledge - rather than regurgitating somebody else's "opinion".

Do I recommend MLM Traffic Formula?

There is no doubt that there is tremendous value in MLM Traffic formula for those that chose to invest this amount in their education.  If this is cost prohibitive for you at this stage then you are probably better served by working through the Renegade University first. The Renegade University and Professional system have bee designed so that people could move forward, attract prospects, build a list and begin in the new model without a high cost and this of course helps your team to duplicate you as well.

Don't get me wrong though, I do recommend MLM Traffic Formula for those that can afford it and are willing to put the effort into using the information it contains.  It focuses heavily on building "You Inc" and promoting yourself as a True Leader.  As would be expected from the higher price tag, MLM Traffic Formula is much more detailed and extensive than The Renegade Network Marketer, referencing specific resources (eg building your own capture pages) and giving you an actual manual and several training discs as part of your package that you can physically return to over an over again.

I use, and endorse, both Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring and Ann Sieg's Renegade Network Marketer.  Both Mike Dillard and Ann Sieg are Internet Attraction Marketing Pioneers and I consider myself fortunate to continue learning from both of them.  I strongly recommend that you buy, at least the entry level (least expensive) book, from both of them even if just to give you the information to respond to your team members when they ask you for your opinion on these. 

Once you are ready to take your online marketing efforts to an advanced level then you should get a copy of Mike's MLM Traffic Formula (it is worth it's weight in Gold to me now I know how to use it).  If, however you are just starting out in Network Marketing, or are looking for a simple step by step, duplicable training system for your team members to follow - then jump on over to the Renegade University and start with the free training.  Your business (and your team) will benefit BIG TIME!
